A first entry

It's easier to just write some kind of early morning hogwash than leave a first entry unposted. With that in mind, let me just inform you that I am currently writing this while prone on my couch, one knee crossed over the other and a cat snuggled up to my ankle like a small warm fluffy motor. The kitchen sink is full of dishes, my bedroom probably needs to be cleared out with a backhoe, and as my body decided it was awake at 7am even though it's a Saturday, I have most definitely not taken a shower yet. And instead of doing all of these things, I am laying on my couch, posting an entry into a Dreamwidth account that I just created.

Priorities!
